Well Done

Well done to everyone that attended the KOS

Well done to everyone that took part in our annual Course and Competition at Grangemouth sports complex you all done very well.

Also a big well done to all that competed, a big well done goes to Poppy receiving 2nd in Kumite and 3rd in Gladiator. Millie receiving 3rd in Gladiator. Kirsty receiving 1st in Gladiator, 2nd in Kata and 3rd in Kumite. Ross 2nd in Gladiator and 3rd in Kumite.

Also a big well done to our coaches that were there to assist and also compete, Maxine received 2nd in Kumite and Sarah received 1st in Kumite.

ClubFife Award

Shukokai Karate Fife has been awarded the ClubFife Actvity Provider Status by Fife Council Sports Development. The club which has classes in Auchtermuchty recently achieved the status from the sports development team. Michael Kavanagh, Sports Development Officer said “The ClubFife activity provider award demonstrates that Shukokai Karate Fife are a safe club that we would recommend to the community to take part. The club are well run and do a great job providing an opportunity for children and adults to take part in and excel in Karate.

On Saturday the 13th February 10-12noon we will be holding our first development competition of 2016, at Glenrothes. This is open to all kids looking to experience competition in a fun and pressure free environment.

Well done to all the kids, that took part in our recent Development competition. It was a very well attended competition and all the competitors and official done a great job and tried there very best. We have some photos and videos from the day upload in our photos and video section.

Summer Camp 2016

Our junior coach Maxine organized and ran this years first summer camp. Summer camp was run during the school holidays (11th-14th July) at Auchtermuchty community centre.

The students that attended camp, learn new skill and improved existing. During the week the kid, worked on; Kumite, Kata, Fitness and Team Work.

A big well done the the winning team (Ross, Lilly, Kirsty and Jessica) and a big well done to all as you successfully learnt a new kata Rohi.

Success at the Scottish Kata Championships

Well done to all that competed in the Scottish Kata Championships on Sunday 3rd June. A big well done to Kathryn on achieving 3rd in the style and Kirsty on achieving 2nd in the style. Also a big well done to those that competed for the first time, you all did fantastic.

Quiz Night 2018

Thank you to everyone that came along last night, it was a fantastic night. Everyone had fun and in the process raised a total of Β£421 for the club. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ₯‹πŸ˜ƒ
